A Different Perspective in the Taxi Industry

Working as a Customer Success Manager for taxi companies in what is still a very male-dominated industry has given me the chance to bring a slightly different perspective to how relationships are built, and how systems and service improvements are approached.
Over the last seven years, I’ve worked closely with the iCabbi system every day, which has helped me build a strong understanding of both the platform itself and the real pressures taxi operators are under. That hands-on experience makes it easier to build trust quickly, turn complex features into practical solutions, and support businesses as they look to improve efficiency, driver communication and passenger experience.
I’ve also found that being a woman in this space can help encourage more open conversations and stronger collaboration across teams. Often, it’s about creating the right environment for honest discussions and finding solutions that genuinely work for everyone involved.
For me, it’s the combination of industry knowledge, system expertise and relationship building that really makes the difference. It allows me to help bridge the gap between technology and operations, so taxi businesses can get real value from their systems while building long-term partnerships that last.
Attending iCabbi’s Women in Taxi 2026 event gave me the chance to reflect on that journey, connect with others across the industry, and recognise just how much impact women are continuing to make in taxi and private hire.
